This is a great article about the stresses of being a firefighter. The general public usually think that firefighters put out a fire or two a year, and the rest of the time they are sleeping at the station or enjoying a ton of time off… Boy are they wrong. Sure, the fire department shift work, has its perks, but it isn’t all gravy…
So proud of these two girls. They both received Superior Achievement awards for the 3rd 9 weeks, highest award possible. It was the 3rd time for both of them to be on honor roll. Iz also tied a 3rd grader for FIRST place in a school-wide book writing contest *attached is a sneak peak of the book*. So proud of my girls! Thankful for their teachers, and blessed to be their mama!

I am a mom and a REALTOR, but I was a mom first. Here are some helpful hints about bringing children to an open house. My girls love going to look at houses. This guy and his sisters prepared our dinner salad: mixed greens, tomato, peeled cucumber, avocado, oranges, chives, crushed pepper, and blue cheese vinaigrette. They did a great job!
Got to spend the day with my boys! Kbug’s favorite sentence of the day: “I want to see more baby gators, daddy.” I wish his sisters were with us!
Happy New year to all! We were blessed to spend some time at the camp, our home a way from home, and most importantly to have Aislin come in for a very short visit to wrap up 2016. If 2016 can end so wonderfully, I am hopeful that 2017 Is going to be stellar!
This guy has been sick ever since beginning daycare. He finally slept for more than an hour at a time last night…in fact, he slept through the night! He isn’t 100%back, but if this smile is any indication of how he is feeling…Therefore, we have decided for me to quite teaching, and to stay home with him beginning in January. The girl’s will finish up the school year, and then we will be praying about the possibility of returning to homeschooling as they finish up what they started.
