Some people have boocksacks and uniform pictures, we just have first day of school outfits. Isabella picked her outfit because “it is a hunting outfit and Hunters give us yummy meat so I like Hunters”…and I am sure Riley picked hers because it has green… The first day of school for these two girls is tomorrow…Kindergarten and PK4…we are all super excited!

Glad my Granny is in a better place.  There is so much that we can learn from the lives of those who go before us.  Some  questions to ask:  are we listening? are we building relationships? and are our hearts open?

Exhausting, fun, and productive day. Worked out with hubby…cardio, deadlifts, and cleans ( it has been way too long), mucked out barn, watered garden, brought girls to Y for a swim, about to eat dinner, and then off to deliver 3 sheep and a goat to a friend. That is what I call a great Saturday… think it will be early to bed for the Kings. And perhaps, I may walk funny tomorrow.

We went from school in the kitchen at the farmhouse… to a beautiful school room built by mommy and daddy with love… to school in the livingroom at the new house!
