For 2013-2014, my girls were only 3 and 4, but we homeschooled anyway! And we had so much fun doing so!
Our curriculum consisted of:
Science – A sketch pad to be used as a Nature Journal. Mommy and Daddy had one too. Much of our days were spent outside in nature – tending to animals, watching the every changing creek bed, relaxing with the sand between our toes, or perhaps climbing trees. We would observe using all of our senses and draw and/or write/dictate about the nature witnessed that day. This was one of my favorite things to do.
Bible – Hubbard’s Cupboard- Bible and Rhyme (Free Resource)
Social Studies – We learned about Families, Community Servants, and Louisiana from materials that I already had and a few trips to the library.
Math – Scott Foresman – 2004 Kindergarten Math
(I didn’t buy these. Older volumes that I had from my years of teaching). This curriculum gave the girls a great foundation and were bright and colorful, so they really enjoyed them.
Reading – A Rhyme a Week and A Book a Week (Free Resources)
