We are so excited to be homeschooling again this year. We are going to be switching some things up this year, so be sure to follow our blog as we share our journey.

Math:
Roo: Singapore 1B and 2A
Iz: Singapore 2B and 3A
(If we would have homeschooled last year, more than likely they would be a book ahead of where they will be this year.)
We also will be trying out Professor B’s Power Mathematics PK-2. If we like it as a supplement, we will add the next level.
Language Arts:
Roo: All About Reading Level 1 and free reading, Cheerful Cursive, Touch-Type Read, and Spell
Iz: All About Reading Level 3 and free reading, Cheerful Cursive, Touch-Type, Read, and Spell
Because the girls both have dyslexic tendencies, we will be switching to AAR because of its Orton-Gillingham/Multi-sensory approach. TTRS is a typing/reading/spelling program that is also Orton-Gillingham based, so we are going to try it out as well.
And for all other subjects, the girls will be attending two co-ops. One which is a Classical Conversations co-op, and the other which they will be participating in more of their elective classes (Let’s Get Messy, Cupcake Decorating, IEW, Art, and Home-ec).
Kbug will learn through playing and some informal instruction.
We will also be learning music in some capacity, continue our nature studies and cooking together, and will begin Brazilian Jujitsu as a family.
