Iz requested root beer floats, a haircut, a butterfly cake, and to bake a cake for her bday. First two requests completed…. Now she is at Nana’s with her cousins working on number 3….and tonight, perhaps we will complete her 4th request and open a couple gifts at home. She didn’t complain about eating one of her favorite meals either, hamburgers! She has such a sweet spirit and her love for Jesus should be an example to us all. What a blessing the last 6 year’s (and 8.5 months) have been.

ebook are happy smiley faces, we all know life is not always just peachy… Even though life is hectic for us right now… And we may walk into a room and forget what we went in there for in the first place… Or we fail to finish a conversation because of interruptions by a fussy baby… we are blessed to have one another and are thankful to be Celebrating our Saviors birth…may this happy picture and those our friends post of their families be a continuous reminder of the blessings that are right in front of us…even through life’s struggles. Life is good… All the time… MERRY Christmas!
The girls and K already received a playhouse, but this morning they received a DIY tree house. Originally the smaller house was purchased as the one and only, but then we were blessed to be given the larger one. So what do you do when you love the outdoors and move from the country to the city? You buy a house with a pool, create plenty of outdoor play areas, and make plans for the future chicken Coop and rehabbing the bikes. The girls also received a couple of balls, a croquet set, and a light show for the pool that can also be used for their “dance parties” in their playhouse … Now we need their basketball goal… And perhaps get a horse shoe set…and we will be set.. Oh, and daddy’a grill and a fire pit are also a must. Killian is obviously enjoying his present too.
Two weeks… and still in love! The girls have been great at knowing and accepting that the babies needs comes before their wants. Now if only I had a volume control button. It does help to kick them o
utside so they can play in their early Christmas present. Daddy and mommy got a kinda fixer upper in mid city for Christmas… And so did the kids. Back to the old hood… Adjusting, yet enjoying city life and old/new friends.
Better late than never… Not our traditional Christmas tree.. But the girls enjoyed making paper and jingle bell ornaments… And Kbug said we could decorate with his blanket. Majority of our Christmas traditions will be a little different this year, but the reason we celebrate Christmas will still be at our center. Merry Christmas!
My heart is full. One of my sweet girls whispering to her little brother about how much Jesus loves him and kissing his sweet cheek… And my other sweet girl is decorating her brother’s swing with jingle bells.
K. Morley – 8lb8oz 20in. DOB 12/08/14 5:24pm. Mommy, Daddy, and sisters are very excited to have him here. He was well worth the wait!
